Tropical Storm Beryl Could Become Hurricane in Atlantic Ocean Near the Lesser Antilles

Tropical Storm Beryl could become the first hurricane of the season in the Atlantic on Thursday after it formed between West Africa and the Lesser Antilles, according to The Weather Channel. The tropical storm is currently 1,200 miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands and is currently moving west-northwest. Satellite images of the storm system indicate convection has been persistent with enough strength along with evidence of surface low pressure that the National Hurricane Center (NHC) declared the system as Tropical Storm Beryl on Thursday afternoon. Britain Demands Explanation From Russia After Latest Nerve Agent Poisoning

The British government on Thursday called on Russia to explain “exactly what has gone on” after a Wiltshire couple fell into a coma following exposure to the same type of Soviet-era nerve agent used in March to poison a former spy and his daughter, The Washington Post reported. The latest health crisis involving the chemical Novichok came about eight miles from the site where former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his adult daughter, Yulia, were stricken four months ago. Xbox One rolls out FastStart feature to speed up downloads

Microsoft is rolling out an update for Xbox users that includes a feature called FastStart, which is designed to get users playing games more quickly once they buy them — up to two times as fast as they have been up to this point. The coach of the young soccer team trapped in a flooded Thailand cave is drawing fire for leading the boys into the mess – and accolades for his subsequent efforts to keep them alive, USA Today reports.
